Hacettepe University Project Support Office aims to strengthen the University’s research infrastructure by facilitating and institutionalising the researchers’ access to national and international funds. The Office serves to encourage the use of new technologies in academic research activities. Besides supporting researchers’ and graduate students’ search for research funds, it also intends to contribute to Turkish Research Area by extending the potential for frontier research.
HOW DO WE SUPPORT?
Project Support Office aims to match project ideas with appropriate research funds. It mainly covers the following funding bodies: Horizon Europe, European Research Council (ERC), Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, WIDESPREAD (Teaming, Twinning, ERA Chairs and COST Action), Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, TUBİTAK (ARDEB, BİDEB and TEYDEB), Ankara Development Agency, Turkish National Agency, Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA):
- Organise info days on fund programmes
- Distribute information on programme calls
- Support researchers in their search for funding agencies suitable for their research
- Provide assistance in networking activities
- Support project writing processes by highlighting the coherence between excellence, implementation and impact
- Offer technical assistance in project submission
- Provide the necessary information and documents for project submission and grant agreement
- Assist information flow from TUBITAK and Hacettepe Technopolis Technology Transfer Center
Project Support Office intends to contact researchers directly on Horizon Europe calls. To serve this purpose, calls are reviewed to deduct keywords, which are searched on Web of Science (https://www.webofscience.com/wos/woscc/basic-search) platform under the “DOCUMENTS” tab. The results are then refined for “HACETTEPE”. This unique method allows to reach the names of Hacettepe University researchers conducting relevant research to the call and contact them directly to provide intensive support.
