FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME PROJECTS
A total of 42 projects were funded by the European Commission Framework Programmes at Hacettepe University. In the period of 2020-2022, 19 proposals were submitted to Horizon 2020 Programme calls and 30 proposals were submitted to Horizon Europe calls. 16 framework programme projects are currently active. 8 of these projects are covered by Horizon 2020 Programme, and the rest are under the Horizon Europe and ERASMUS+ Programmes, which only started in 2021. The total European Union contribution these projects received is 167.1 million Euros. Hacettepe University's share is 2.8 million Euros in total - distributed as 1.4 million Euros for Horizon 2020 Programme projects and 1.4 million Euros for Horizon Europe and ERASMUS+ Programme projects.

ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME
In the period of 2014-2022, Hacettepe University participated at 69 Erasmus+ Programme projects: 6 sport, 4 Capacity Building, 2 Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices (KA200), 16 Strategic Partnerships in the Field of School Education (KA201), 11 Strategic Partnerships in the Field of Vocational Education (KA202), 15 Strategic Partnerships in the Field of Higher Education (KA203), 7 Strategic Partnerships in the Field of Adult Education (KA204), 2 Strategic Partnerships in the Field of Youth (KA205), 3 Erasmus+ Partnerships for Creativity and Digital Education Readness (KA226), and 3 Support for Policy Reform (KA3) projects. Hacettepe University acted as coordinator in 15 of these projects.
A closer look at the recent period shows that the University submitted 21 project proposals in 2020, 5 project proposals in 2021 and 16 project proposals in 2022. Among these, a total of 18 projects were funded under the Erasmus+ Programme Cooperation among Organisations and Institutions Projects. Hacettepe University received a total of 1,138 million Euros from the European Commission, and the total budget of the projects reached 7,688 million Euros.
